²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Percussion Ensemble is open to all ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ students regardless of campus affiliation with prior percussion performance experience. No audition is necessary, however non-Percussion Majors may be asked to provide proof of performance experience or ability. Part assignments are generated based on playing ability and performance experience.

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Percussion Ensemble performs repertoire that samples current as well as historically significant composers exposing student to a wide variety of ensemble literature from trio/quartet up to large ensemble.

The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Percussion Ensemble performs one concert per semester and often embarks on a spring tour of local and regional high schools in an effort to engage new audiences and recruit for the ensemble.

Students wishing to perform with the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Percussion Ensemble do not need to own any instruments, however having a selection of sticks/mallets is beneficial. If a student is interested in participating but does not own any percussion implements, temporary accommodations can be made by contacting the director.
